Fix miss fix miss fiers
There are frequent problems with the parts you already replaced. The crank sensor and cam sensor can affect firing. Check intake for vacuum leaks with a water spray. Also look at front passenger water jacket on intake, subject to decay and will spray water vapor on plugs.

I have a 99 expedition and the a/c worked great
When is the last time you had your coolant flushed? First check the knob issue. I also had that problem. However if that's not the issue you probably need your coolant flushed. I just put a heater core in my 2000 expedition. That's a 5-10 hour job by yourself. I did it with a friend. This was the 3rd heater core i put in this truck. The ford dealer didnt do the job right(1500$) the first 2 times so i did it myself. The whole dash has got to come out as well as the steering wheel needs to be dropped. There is an excellent video on youtube that shows the whole process with all the hidden bolts. Not a job for a novice. Hope this helps.

How to open tail gate from inside
The top bezel around the glass just pops off, use a screw driver if necessary. Once off, there are two screws (one on each side) of the bottom bezel Remove them and the bottom pops off to a point. There are screws on the bottom also. Pull the bottom back far enough to reach down to the latch. There will be a couple of rods connected to it. The horizontal one has to be move from left to right Or vise versa, to release the latch. Pulling in on the door some makes it easier to unlatch. Once it pops, push the door open.
