Car wont turn over after replacing ignition switch

Do you mean the key switch. Read this.

HIGH SECURITY 'CHIP KEY' - By now, most people know their vehicle's high-tech keys are expensive at the car dealers- Now, you can get high-tech keys from us at a fraction of the cost. How does the high-tech key work? The key contains a tiny embedded electronic chip called a transponder. Each transponder has its own unique code--it's the key's 'fingerprint'. When the key is inserted into the ignition and turned, the transponder is energized and broadcasts its unique code to the car's receiver in the dashboard. If the car's receiver recognizes the code, it will allow the car to start. ikeyless.com-----If it is the ignition switch under the dash on top of the steering column it needs to be adjusted right.Go to Autozone.com and make an account and put in your make and model and click on repair manual it will show you everything on the car but you have to make an account it's free

Brake lights not working on a 1995 ford

Hi, sometimes the simplest of things can become complicated by omiting the theory of how a circuit works, The brake light switch is merely a break in a live wire, some cars are constant live, and others rely on the ignition switch being turned to the on position for the supply to work. You mention you have checked the above have you checked you have 12 volts at the feed wire at the brake light switch, no voltage should be rectified by looking for a secendary fuse or break in the supply, if you have 12 volt supply at the switch, next with the switch disconnected, join together both wires this will allow you to eliminate the switch, if the brake lights illuminate then the switch would be considered faulty, if it does not light move your testing to the rear of the car, at the switch you will observe the colour of the wire feeding the rear brake lights, at the rear of the car observe the wire and check for 12 volts, if not present check for break in wire, sometimes the wire can become damaged in tailgate rubbers etc where amooving part may trap or fracture the wire, it is. Most likely that this is the problem when more than one light does not light , as the rear lights and indicators are working we can assume the earthing to the light is correct, hope this is of help to you paul

A/c-heater blower does not come on. replaced

this could be a bad blower motor resistor.you can go to a wrecking yard and get one probably around $5.its located in the air duct under the dash or it maybe under the hood its been awhile.it should have about 5 wires or so and is usually held in with 2 small bolts.you don`t say but is the fuse good this can be checked out with a test light.the only other thing it could be is a blower motor switch on the dash.there is very little problem with the wiring for this system.

1995 Ford Thunderbird - Engine won't turn off

Pull the 60amp fuse in the fuse box near the battery. You'll find it. That will shut off the motor. Remove the neg ground on the battery to shut off the rest of the car and save the battery,
It sounds like the ignition lock actuator. It goes from the ignition key switch to the Yellowish ignition switch box, under the dash on the column. It pushes the ignition switch to start and pulls it back to stop and lock. If you remove the 2 hex screws on the yellowish ignition switch and let it hang down, you will see a rod sticking out of the top. It's a slider. Push the slider toward the engine and it starts. Toward the drivers seat, and it shuts off the car. Check this out.

How can you turn off

somewhere between the gas tank and the engine there is a fuel line pressure sensor its usually near the gas filler right behind the rear fender but you'll have to consult the manual to locate it exactly you just might find a manual at your local library. You'll have to get a new sensor installed its most likely gone bad . this is a common issue for vehicles of this age.. these particular valves introduced to just about all vehicles some time just before '95 were to reduce gas fumes getting into the atmosphere from the gas tank and thus help reduce air pollution when they go bad guess what, yes you got it 'check your engine' .... good luck ..!
