2have an oil leak around
It could be either but it is impossible to say without inspecting the car. If the leak is around the filter housing I suspect it is more likely from the oil filter. The oil filter gasket may have failed or the filter may not be screwed on firmly enough. However filters do not have to be screwed on very tightly to prevent a leak. If over tightened they can be difficult to remove and the rubber gasket can even be damaged.
I suggest you have the oil changed in the car and have the oil filter changed at the same time. This is very cheap to do and a new decent quality brand oil filter (such as MOTORCRAFT which meets Original Equipment specs for your car)) is only about $10 - if that. Whilst the oil and filter are being changed from beneath the car, with the vehicle on the hoist, it should be possible to examine the likely source of the leak.

Battery wont charge
you will need to check the alternator to confirm it is working, should be putting out 13.5 + volts. Another thing to check, with engine off, remove the positive battery cable from the battery and touch it to the battery post. If you get a lot of spark you have a short in the system somewhere that is drawing your battery down. It is normal to have a little spark because of you stereo memory, clock etc. If you find you have a major draw in the system the first component I would check would be the starter. Disconnect the wires from the starter and see if you still have the draw.

The heater kicks on but only blows cold air
You need to check both heater hoses for circulation when the engine is warmed up and the heater is set for heat. If both hoses are equally hot, water is circulating. This means the heater core and water valving are delivering heat. You would then look for ductwork problems that are failing to route the air under the dash past the heater core.If the heater hoses under the hood are not equally hot, then you would check to see if the water flow valving is working and what is preventing the flow. In worst case scenario, the heater core is blocked. Try disconnecting the heater hoses and using a garden hose to verify a blockage. Reversing the flow could also clear a blocked core. Finally, some Digital Climate controls have a diagnostic sequence which can be activated to self-diagnose some problems. This is more difficult to obtain this info because you need the matching Codes to decipher the results. Dealers would have this info.Pleae rate my info.

Contact with upper radiator hose
Is there any way to jerry-rig the hose so it rests higher away from the pulley?
This may be a way to check the mounts: try wrapping a thin metal band around the hose there (or even a hose clamp). Then listen as you accelerate and brake for the hose to come in contact. Might even try putting in drive with your foot on the brake and see if the engine rocks too much. Good luck.
