Only thing I can is do you have a check engine light. If you do what is the code. Many auto parts stores will read your code for free. What you said picks up slowly and tops out at 35 mph. My Chrysler 200 took 2 block to get to 2000 rpm 30 mph. That was all it would do. I had a code and changed the throttle body sending unit. The throttle body and sending unit are 1 piece unit on my car. some cars you can change just the sending unit. You need to go under the car and inspect for damage, I think this musty have been more than just a bump.

Did u clear the code with obd2 scanner if not try unhooking battery for 15 min and then hook battery back up if code still comes up may have bad wire some where or faulty sensor

I don't have anything to tell what the codes are, but you may have a bad CV joint or shaft. Have struts checked too.
