Probably lost either spark or fuel to the engine. Try starting it with starting fluid into the intake. If nothing happens, check for spark on a spark plug wire- probably the ignition system. If it runs for a second or two with starting fluid, it is a fuel problem-check fuel pressure to see if the fuel pump is still working.

This is called Limp mode and appears when the transmission has a severe fault - it's designed to keep the transmission operational at all costs long enough for you to reach a repair shop . So take it to one.
BTW it will be expensive, probably it will be cheaper to completely replace the tranny with one from a scrapyard than to fix this one.

It might be as simple as changing the fuel filter or air filter.

Its probably your computer. Had the same thing happen to me about ten years back. About 500 dollars. better off finding one on ebay or at a junk yard.

Hi! If theres no gas getting to the engine then the problem will be on the fuel pump. A Faulty fuel pump can result to no fuel supply so you will have to replace it. Hope this helps and have a good one!

This sounds like the timing belt has broken.

i have a 1993 dodge colt 1.5 and it won't start when it is cold only when it is hot outside..

the throttle body is most likely dirty and making the throttle stick. if you follow the cable to where it goes to the motor that is the throttle body and if you clean that inside by taking off the air breather/cleaner tube you will see the throttle plate. you can use throttle body cleaner to spray and clean it. also you need to inspect the spring on the side of the throttle body that helps the plate spring back.

check and change the TPS also check the idle speed motor/idle air controller

fuel filter is none servicable it is part of the pump assembly

oil shafts dont have to be timed or least i havent seen one that was. it if has a counter balancer they have to b may be its off time

your screen filter inside your fuel tank is dirty (sometime`s called a sock )

Try the hub bearings. Swing the wheel from side to side while driving & see if the noise changes. If it does then the hub bearings are shot.

i had this problem , all you need to do is hook the ground wire from your new radio to the braided wire that hooked on your old radio and insert a bolt in the hole and tightin ,then check fuses and your dash lights will work and dome light.
