BA Falcon 'door open' light is on, can't lock
Hi I have the same problem on my BA XT FalconStrangely it only happens after it's rained on my car (usually overnight) I then notice that the drivers lock is up and will not lock again until a nice sunny day comes and I leave all doors wide open for hours and hours!! Then all of a sudden once closing all doors normally the little dash door light turns off, and I can again lock the doors?Since it rained all last night here, guess what? It happened again! So I've checked everywhere and cleaned and you name it, but nothing, I'm positive that when a warm sunny day comes again though, all will be ok.Most annoying issue ever. Where is this tiny bit of water that's causing this? And which door?? Can I just disconnect one door at a time? I don't know it's driving me crazy!!!!
I have a ABS problem with my AU Falcon wagon. I
If fluid leaking from the master cylinder finds a way into the servo or booster it could cause an entirely different sort of trouble. Master cylinders are usually very reliable unless contamination of the fluid has taken place - usually indicated by a darker than usual fluid colour and sediment in the reservoir, evidenced when a strong light is used.
A loss of brake pressure could signal the master cylinder is failing (the pedal creeping towards the floor) or a brake booster problem, perhaps caused by insufficient vacuum or an air leak. An assistant is useful when looking for such problems and also when searching for noises.
The steady clunk being felt on the brake pedal might be something fairly obvious like a wheel balance weight just touching a caliper when the brake is applied. It is time to become a detective - I recently had one of those. One wheel had a second row of balance weights that caused no problems until I fitted new brake pads.
If a close and careful examination and a vigorous shake of everything by an assistant provides no clues, it could be worth checking the air gap between the ABS sensor(s) and the reluctors if they are the exposed type. Sometimes corrosion reduces the diameter of the reluctor and increases the air gap so the signal is lost at low speed. The ABS brain thinks the wheel is not turning and tries to operate the ABS on that wheel. Usually not a steady clunk but you never know, it could be worth checking...

No solution sorry - mine have done exactly the same - will wipe front screen if you mess with the stalk - rear wiper works when you push the stalk forwards or backwards but no washer to either - have you found a solution? Kind regards - Andy

HI:
When your blinker blinks really fast, it is usually because one of your bulbs is burnt out. To check this, either have someone watch them, or turn on your 4 way hazard flasher and walk around the car.
Abs light, park brake, showing up
Hello. ABS can have problems and cause them. Check the brakes out first to see if they are good or bad. Then check ABS Sensor to see if they are good or bad. If ABS Sensor's get bad or become bad, they can cause big problems to the whole braking system. Good Luck.
How can i get the
Go to the owner section of the Ford.com website for radio codes, or,
http://ford-radio-code.com/index.html
There seems to be a cost associated with this service, but I couldn't find it for free on the Ford.com website, and the Ford Futura, isn't listed for the U.S.
So, I would to search under 'ford radio code' for further options, that may cost.
Good luck on this repair.
How to change front struts on 2008 fg falcon
WELL YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE STRUT AND ILL ASSUME YOU HAVE A VICE TO SET IT IN. YOU THEN USE STRUT COMPRESSORS NOT COIL SPRING COMPRESSORS TO CINCH DOWN YOUR STRUT COILS TO THE POINT OF WHERE THE STRUT BEARING MOVES FREELY ( THE PART WITH THE STUDS ) THEY DONT NEED TO BE FULLY COLLAPSED JUST ENOUGH THAT YOU CAN SAFELY REMOVE THE CENTER BOLT OFF THE TOP. KEEP YOUR HEAD AWAY FROM THE TOP JUST IN CASE YOUR SPRING COMPRESSORS LET GO.
My ford falcon has problem starting after 1st being run and warmed up
Could be several things . Check injectors if leaking can cause flooding and hard starting after warm up. check cold starting unit not still on after warm up . A faulty temp censer can make hard starting . Leaking injectors can be checked by fuel pressure holding steady with engine stopped .
