Removal
WARNING: Do not smoke, carry lighted tobacco or an open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel-related components. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and may be ignited, possibly resulting in personal injury.
WARNING: Fuel supply lines on all vehicles equipped with fuel injected engines will remain pressurized for long periods of time after engine shutdown. Fuel system pressure must be relieved prior to fuel system service to prevent possible personal injury or a fire hazard.
!!You need a FORD connection remover tool for all hoses with the release type mechanism on them. This kit has several "C" shaped plastic buttons that insert into the lines to release them from their connections. Around $20.00 for kit available at most part stores.

14.Clean the area around the fuel delivery module mounting flange.
15.Remove the module assembly flange bolts.
16.
CAUTION: The fuel delivery module must be handled carefully to prevent damage to the float arm, filter, convolute tubing and wiring.
