My wife had a mid 80's capri and the latch/release button was on the drivers side door pillar at the back of the door near the bottom of the pillar, the door had to be open to see it, there was a second one that we only found when selling the car on the bottom of the drivers side door arm rest. Not sure if that helps as yours is newer but it might give you a couple of more places to start. On my son's Mercury Topaz you have to open the glovebox and push a semi=concealed button on the right..Those lovely engineers at Ford! lol...

Replacing an alternator is pretty straightforward. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Then remove anything in the way of the alternator and serpentine belt. Use a tool to release the pressure on the tensioner and remove belt from the alternator pulls. Disconnect the electrical connections then unbolt the alternator. Installation is reverse of removal.



Check YouTube and you can probably find a video on a similar model with better instructions.

I would bet nothing. If there are no contacts in both of the slots then it is an extra space for an option that your car did not come with.

check with a service dealer it may have been a spare fuse for that board.

Have you replaced the belt lately? If not, replace your belt. If so, check your belt tensioner.

Check fuel filter,tune up,wires ,coils.check air filter too.

Youwill need a test light and a second person to help you do this test. While someone is pressing the horn button you need to place a test light at the actual horn trumpet wire. If your test light lights up when they press the button that means you have good boltage coming into the horn. That would mean it is time to replace the trumpet. Take a test light directly to the horn wire at the horn itself. Have someone push the horn button and see if it lights up. If it does that means you have good voltage comingto the horn trumpet. If that's the case that means it's time to replace the horn trumpet.

You don't need a diagram. There should be a small resovoir close to the brake resovoir. Look for a black or white cap the says either use only DOT3 or DOT4 brake fluid. They usually only have 1 line running from it. Don't over fill it, if it is empty you will need to bleed the system. Aldo don't get brake fluid on your car's paint, it will ruin it.

check your fuel psi if its to low the fuel pump needs repaced.
