I have a '91 E150 Van. It suddenly would not start after a five minute errand. I jumped it by using a screwdriver on the solenoid. I just figured it went out, bought a replaced. Still won't

If you have an automatic transmission you need to check the neutral safety switch; if it's a manual check the clutch safety switch.

1998 ford econoline transmission problem

This will sound odd, but if the fuel filter hasn't been changed in a long time replace it and check that air filter isn't clogged up. If this isn't causing it you can try changing the fluid if it's been neglected and add TransX. Does my ford motorhome have a gas shutoff switch

Most pickup based motorhomes have 2 fuel tanks, you may have a tank selector valve that is electric or vacuum operated. Check underneath and follow the fuel lines from the tank to the front of the engine, somewhere in between you may find that the fuel hose goes to a valve that is used to switch between the 2 tanks ie: main fuel tank and auxillary fuel tank.

Where is the computer connection located

Dave, Your question is incomplete! Are you reffering to the ECM, or the brain of your vehicle. Or are you wanting to know where to connect a code reader? The ECM is located on the Firewall approximately behind the battery. If you are trying to connect a code reader, there are connectors beside the battery, you have to fish around for them.

Our 1991 e-150 econoline custom van is considered a commercial can why

Honestly I'm not exactly sure of the solution, but I sure hope someone does. A friend of mine had the same problem and was hoping his <a href="http://www.insuranceexpress.ca/Homeowners.html">home insurance in calgary</a> would help with the issue. Does insurance cover that kind of thing?

1991 Ford e350 Class C RV stalling out while driving, starts up again after 40 minutes fine. Any ideas?

The first thing you must do is check the engine control system for fault codes. To do that go here and read instructions.

I cant locate the fuel shut off switch on 91 ford econoline 250 super 5.8L

The inertia switch is on either side of the dash near the doors. Look around the emergency brake pedal or around the heater box.I would check the fuel pump relay and the ECM relay.

Why does my 91 ford econoline over heat when I

I've been working a similar issue with a friends truck. When the heater blower motor is off the engine temperature gauge reads normal in the middle. But when you turn the blower motor on the gauge goes way up to the top. The engine isn't really overheating. There is an electrical problem that when you turn the blower on it is affecting the temperature gauge and making it go all the way up off-scale. So far we've found that the blower motor speed control resistor is bad. We replaced that and the speed control works now, except for the low speed setting. I suspect there is a bad ground somewhere and the bottom end of the resistor element isn't grounded anymore. As such too much current is going through the ground in the dash, which is affecting the gauge.
