D 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac Adrenalin . There's a 3 way connection on the top of the engine compartment with unconnected hoses?

Since it sucks air (plenum vacuum) my first wild guess, would somebody played with the EVAP purge valve,,now all asunder. no photos posted the blind so,,, expect wrong answers. the service manual covers this topic fully the valve if not missing has electrical connector top rear of engine, and 2 vapor hoses, top bottom of valve. seen here https://eautorepair.net/Marketing/Default.asp

2005 explorer sport trac instrument cluster and odometer intermittent failure?

Pull the instrument cluster out of the dash check all the connectors to it for loose pins and also take a look at the printed circuit on the back of the panel, look for any obvious problems. More than likely just pulling the connectors and reinserting them several times may cure this problem.

It could be a shifter interlock or trans gear selector switch. Or a bad wire going into the interlock solenoid. You did not mention year make and model. If the brake light s works chances are brake pedal switch is good. Just check the wiring on the switch to make sure.

What would cause a 2005 ford explorer sports trac to not have turn signals or brake lights and it blows fuses when we put them in.

You have a shorted wiring harness, check at the rear of the vehicle undercarriage first for a damaged wiring harness that is cut or worn through on frame or other metal surface. There is no magic fix for shorted wiring, just hard work and close examination.
