Are you sure that the batteries in your remote are okay?

find your leak. could be hose, power steering switch, or pump itself.

are you sure it's the multi function switch? it might be the high beam relay.

The switch is located in the rear. Passenger side behind the jack

try removing negative going to the engine block.possible dry battery acid on bolt threads.also be sure battery posts are clean. hope this helps, good luck

Check the plug closely. The tabs where the bulb goes in corrode and break off. Replace the plug.

Auto Zone along with other parts suppliers have been graciously willing to read for me the OBD codes from my check engine light in the past. I might ask them to check for you the codes and possible cause.

You need to use an OBD scanner and erase dtc

There is a trouble code stored in theft module , you'll have to take it to the dealer !

Hi Cathy,your cat could be partially clogged and causing your internal engine to run hot and causing this,happen to me,but it caused my head gasket to blow,had to take cat off to see,the inside of cat came apart and partially blocked the outlet.I put a new head gasket on and didn't put another cat on,don't have a smog test in my state.If it is not your cat,then it may be your piston rings which will let oil get to your plugs.What are your plugs looking like Cathy?

because of the way the belt is routed the ac compressor can not be bypassed by using a smaller belt. So that leaves you with 2 options. 1. replace the a/c compressor and enjoy the benefits of a/c during the hottest days of summer. 2. remove the a/c compressor and install a bypass pulley. option one gives the most benefit for the dollar and is also the most reliable repair. option 2 is not as sound of a repair, can be installed incorrectly, has a higher probability of failure, costs less, and makes you rely on open windows to cool off. Buy a cheap volt tester there not expensive that would help you alot with the car running it should show 13to 14 volts running less then 13 it's not charging good luck I need more info

I have the same problem. I agree with no. 1 - it fixed itself when I had work done on the car and they disconnected the battery. It is part of a **** load of electrical problems Ford has with this windstar (ie ABS, wacked out dash indicator lights) and they don't know how or won't do a dame thing about it. What a pain the the a_ _.. Hard pressed to buy another Ford after all this.

Put the key in and turn it as you move the steering wheel. left or right. This should release the steering and key. Fords are bad for this. The light blinks all the time, slowly( about once a second). When it blinks fast, then you have a security problem.
