Transmission will only go into reverse
I would check the linkage and if it is all connected and working then the problem is internal. A pump can go and leave no shavings or metal flakes in the pan.
To check the linkage put the truck on ramps, support it with jackstands crawl under the truck while someone sits in the drivers seat with the parking break on. Watch the linkage levers on the transmission as the person in the truck moves the shift lever (while firmly mashing the breaks) also listen for a distinct "clicking" sound in the transmission as it moves through the gears. Again if the linkage is okay and it sounds like things are moving with the shift leaver then the problem is most likely a worn pump.
Truck will not move when in gear
Make sure the wiring harness to transmission is not damaged and remove wiring plug at transmission and check for damage. If no problem you will need to see a good transmission shop.
1989 Ford F150 Coolant leak.
Hey Jim, sounds like the water pump may be leaking... I would take it a radiator shop and let them diagnose it... it will NOT get better... only leave you on the side of the road!!!
My signal light quit working on my f150
Do the hazard lamps work? Did you check the turn fuse? Not only check the fuse, check the fuse circuit for voltage, the fuse circuit goes hot when you turn on the key. Your owners manual should tell you which fuse does what.
None of your turn signals work? Could be the flasher or multifunction switch. On the proper wire color you could check voltage to and from steering column for turn signals. If voltage going in but not coming out for turn signals, the problem is in the steering column, either the wiring or multifunction switch.

Bad ignition switch loose wont start
Model year make and model? Lot of newer models when you turn you're steering wheel all the way to the right an anti theft activates locks the steering column if you insert you're key well you move the steering wheel to the left you're car should start also you may overall just need a ignition switch replacement.
Replace headlight assembly
The halogen replacement bulb assemblies go in at the rear of the headlight plastic housing. It's just a twist lock to remove the lamp. After removal of the burnt out bulbs, do not touch the new halogen bulb with your fingers, latex gloves work best. oils from your fingers will cause the outer glass to break when bulb gets hot
