1994 Ford F150 Styleside Supercab - Page 6 Questions & Answers
I have a 94 Ford f150 that drives in first but
chances are that you have an E4OD transmission. It a good transmission, however it's electronically controlled (the E, in E4OD). What this means is that many things outside of the transmission itself can cause the transmission to act up. First thing's first... ensure that your fluid level is sufficient. Then, click the link below to read the thread about the E4OD diagnosis process. good luck.http://fullsizebronco.com/forum/showthread.php?t=122096&highlight=shifting
How to change spark plugs on 1994 Ford F150 straight 6
It should be fairly simple ,start at one end ,and work your way to the other. I would remove the plug wire from 1 plug at a time in order to insure that you don't get them mixed up.remove the wire from the first plug,(making sure that there is nothing that will fall into the plug hole, such as dirt, grit ,or any other dabree.)Then remove the plug with a suitable sparkplug socket,(short extention if needed),and a good ratchet.the plugs should turn counter clock wise to come out and clockwise to tighten. There should be a knob,or button on ratchet to change direction of rotation.Be carefull to get the new plug started straight in plug hole!! Make sure they are gapped propperly, and that's about it! I hope this helps!
