Have the road wheels or tyres been changed from the original manufacturer's specification? If they have been changed for larger (or smaller) diameter wheels this would necessarily alter the vehicle's speedo veracity! This seems the most likely cause of errors in speedo readings. If this is NOT the case, then it sounds like a speedo fault. Best of luck!

Check all your gound wires & alternator output,
as well as A/C leakage from alternator

The battery could be gone regardless of age

I would remove the battery & alternator
& have them tested.
Lot of work, but you eliminate the possible
vehicle issues you may have yet to find

The ac not being on does not mean it is not the cuase of the noise. The bearing may be going bad on the ac. You may want to take a look at the idoler pulley as well. They are the same as the tensioner aside from the fact it is hard mounted. Try spraying a lubricant on the idoler and if that does not help spray the ac at the cak of the pulley. Which ever ones helps will let you know which is the cause.

It is an art. You do not have to bend any metal. Usually the glass gets rotated and will "just" make it out through the top of the door. care must be taken to not scratch the new glass.

If the battery doesn't have a bad cell in it then double check any direct hot wires that lead from the battery directly and disconnect any that are not needed. Typically an alarm will do this if the alarm is malfunctioning. On rare occasions a vehicle radio secondary power line will cause this to happen.

Why does every one look at fuses? Educate yourself. Do you know what a fuse does? Doesn't fix anything!

Have you at least got to the light switch and tested it.

The resevior is located on the motor for top it has a filler cap on it
Remove back seats and you will see it like this

Check the computer they would had of put the mustang computer in it this should have a number on it. (If not )the number is located behind the timing chain cover. that means you would have to pull the water pump and timing chain cover off to get to it. and some were stamped on the inside of the block you would have to remove the oil pan. is it fuel injected 5.0 with mass air flow? I would check the computer.

Check and see if the coil wire has come off, the voltage to the electics section is missing at some point. check on the coil, the contactor,for voltage.check if the fuse jumped or shorted off. if not loop up with a 12 volt to the coil to get the car started and probed later. Hope there is fuel in the car and is not an issue.

You would think that the problem would be solved after changing all of those parts!

The voltage regulator should keep the voltage below a certain level. Even though you changed that, I would be suspicious about the quality of the part.

I would try another brand of voltage regulator.

Have the starting and charging system analyzed at Walmart or your local parts store to see what it charges at under load.
