Steering is groaning like it is out of power

Yes it may be the pump-- But the most likely cause is what they call a poppet valve in the pump itself. This valve goes bad after the fluid get dirty and small metal shavings wear it out. The best solution is to replace the pump and flush the system out

The problem is that you have to push the clutch

try this, find switch in back of clutch arm. remove switch and hook wires together from switch. but do not try to start with clutch not pressed down. on most cars its a safety precaution. to prevent from starting if clutch is not pushed. have a good day !! clutch_switch2.jpg This one's almost too easy. All that is needed is to loop a small tie wrap around the clutch switch and switch lever assembly. After cinching it down the switch lever is permanently depressed (thereby eliminating the annoying clicking sound). If it ever becomes necessary to restore the switch to normal operation just cut the tie wrap. Couldn't be simpler. Depending on how long it takes you to find a tie wrap the entire process should take 2 minutes or less. NOTE: It is now possible to start the car without the clutch being depressed. If you do this hack make sure the car is not in gear when the car is started unless the clutch is depressed.

89 f250 overheated and stalled 3 times. I replaced

Sounds like your head gasket has gone bad. you may have noticed white smoke comeing out of the exhust. do not run this engine without changeing the oil or you will destroy the engine, and if the head gasket is leaking it will dump water or antifreeze into the oil again.you can take a compression check on the engine to tell you what head gasket is bad.

Tranny fluid is pouring out the torqeconverter

You you either pinched the seal...or it is torn. If you are confident this absolutely isn't the case, then you have an internal Transmission failure causing fluid to be pushed out of the seal. That just happens to be a high pressure area with a fairly weak seal. Very common on Fords

Why does my 1989 f350 5.8 idle up and down at

It sounds like the computer engine coolant sensor is not reading. It is a 2 wire brass sensor installed on the top of the intake near the front of the engine. Also make sure you coolant is not rusty, if it is... you need to flush out your cooling system and put new coolant in.

I have fuel coming out the the front tank when i

Hello codandangey: My name is Roger and I will help you. Ford had a recall for this problem. It has probably been to long for a free repair. You might call your ford dealer and check if it was done. If it has not been done they might do a free repair. The kit to fix the problem should be available from the dealer. The kit number is F1UZ-9B263-B. This is for the fuel select valve. What happens is the fuel draws off of the rear tank and the excess is returned to the front tank instead.of the rear tank. This is a simple fix for the do it your self-er. Should you have any problems or need further help please just ask. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger
