Hold gas pedal down start car
If this has a carburetor, look at the Power valve that is connected to the throttle lever. It is a small plate in front of the carb with a lever that moves with the throttle. There is a small rubber valve inside which allows gas to flow between chambers.
Another possibility is the fuel pump. After that, a bad Vacuum leak like from a ruptured EGR diaphragm can cause these problems.
1996 bronco starting
Need to find out if there is spark while cranking first. Check at the coil wire first then at a plug wire.If there is spark at the coil and not at the plug the fault is the rotor or dist. cap.If there is no spark at all,suspect the ign. module. If there is good spark move on to the fuel pressure check.It needs about 40 lbs. to run.
Engine backfire
Sounds like the timing may be off. I would need to know what engine it has to help you diagnose this better.
Warning sound
are you sure you haven't inadvertently set the speed warning on the onboard computer ?

There is a process to determine you problem. Have a pressure test done on the cooling system. Have a compression test done on the engine to check for head gasket or cracked head. Have a flow test done on the radiator to check for blocked cores. If you have a viscous fan hub have it checked out for correct operation. All the test will tell you exactly what is wrong for the least of amount of cash. Have the engine completely cold and then start it and let it idle . After around 10 minutes you should feel the top radiator hose starting to get warm which indicates that the thermostat is working
Fuel shut off switch
Look in the passenger door kick panels, there is a hole and the reset button is behind it, the button is red

Most vehicles around 800 after warm up about 1100 when cold

depends if it is a auto or manaul tranny auto is 1200 and manaul is 750
