In the fuel tank

Are you talking about the ac compressor?or the blower motor ?If it is the blower motor,it will be a sheet metal screw,but if it is the ac compressor,then it could be a 8 mm 1.25 thread,and you will have to measure for the length of the bolt.

think the wiring loom has shorted out ,just like a lot of ford cars from this era,the plastic on the insulation just dries out and cracks and fall off .

ran it without oil stoped shut it off now it wont start it cranks all day but dont start

You have ruined your engine. Sadly you will need to replace it.
Engines must have oil -always

They make a special elongated spark plug socket that can reach down inside far enough to reinstall them safely. The cost involved is usually $8 to $10 depending on the store

Sounds like you need to check your vaccum lines for a leak. This is easy to do. Buy a can on carburator cleaner and with a friends help keep the car running as you spray your vaccum lines with the carburator cleaner one by one. If you have a leak it will **** the cleaner into the lines and cause the vehicle to stall out. Replace the line if this happens and continue checking all lines until all bad lines are replaced.

the timing is too high.

Sounds like you have bad gas. It can get strong mix of gas to give you the right idle, but when it has water mix, it will cause the car to fire like it should. This will then give you a low, rough, or just cutting off idle. Try mixing water remover in with the gas. You may have to drain the gas out or just drive it like it is until the tank is almost empty. Fill up with gas (from a different store) and you may want to change the plugs after the good gas is through the system. I'm not saying the plugs are bad, but there may be a lot of moisture beads from the water sitting causing rust.

alot of times the motor burns out to where they will go up but now down i would get a set of motors from a junk yard and go that route

waterpump to be replaced is honestly cheaper to do it urself with a haynes manual then to pay a shop to have done trust me i got a quote of 700 for just the waterpump its only a couple hour job aslong as u dont mess up the timeing

If it starts and runs, but then dies putting in gear or accelerating, check the thick ribbed rubber air intake hose between the throttle body and the air cleaner. Look for a crack in the ribs of the hose and replace if necessary. Common issue

11-13 degrees btdc.@ 650-750 rpm. The distributor is clockwise 1-3-4-2.

Check cap and rotor.

spray brake cleaner to seeif it will fire. This is to determine if you have a fuel issue or ignition issue. If it starts then most likely the fuel pump failed. If it doesnt start then you have an igniton issue. No way to tell what part of the igniton system failed without testing but most common part that fails is the ignition module.
