New molded replacement carpet, should not require cutting, yes the console will need to be removed, seats too, everything that is above the carpet from side to side and front to back should be removed, then install the new carpet, and re-install everything you took out. sounds like the timing belt has jumped some teeth try a timing belt

Make sure the wires to alternator are correct and also check all your fuses you may have shorted the power wire or not connected all wires to power stud on alternator or by fluck your pump went bad.

The OBDI diagnostic jumper is installed to set the base timing. It disables computer control of timing while you set the dist. However, you must remove the jumper to drive the car, and then the computer takes over timing control. The only way to disable this is to replace the ECU software or go to a different engine management system. If you try to drive with the jumper in place it will go into limp mode.

I would try the thermostat first before anything else.Is the oil and radiator fluid normal?

timing belt is about 35 euros and the procedure isnt difficult but again i wouldnt expect a novice to do this ,one mistake and the engine goes BANG take it to a garage .

looks liek the clutch plate needs replacement or adjustment

It is a Mazda E-CAT and it has a rubber cap on the top of the dipstick tube

check the plug s and the wirers if thier bad thats a start also if it coils check them and the distributor

has a MAF sensor? It could be bad which will cause the car to act like you described.
