On my friend's f-350 desiel 1991 .the colder it

it might need the fuel cut to 70/30 depending where you live i mean 70 percent diesel and 30 percent kerosene, but glow plugs are always a good idea to replace when these things start to happen, they do burn out.

1991 FORD F-350 with a 460 cranks but wont start.

first hit the fuel tank with rubber mallet where you might think the pump is. it's best to do this with someone trying to start the truck. if the pump comes on, it is definitely the pump. you can also check at the relay look at the relay and it should show a diagrahm. jump the leads with the switch, not the coil, first check your fuses and check for power at the relay

I have a 1994 F-350 with a glow-plug issue when

I would test the glowplugs themselves...Just hook a test light to the positive side of your battery and touch the probe to the top of the glowplug. It should ground out through the glowplug and turn the light on. If it doesn't then you have a bad glowplug.

Where is the fuel pump relay on an F350 Ford

According to Haynes Diesel Repair Manual the fuel pump relay is mounted on the inner fender (doesn't say which side). The fuel pump inertia switch should be found under the dash to the right of the transmission hump and near the heater case. Depress the button on top of it to reset it. Hope this will help.

The dash lights wont come on

when the dash lights wont come on turn the headlights all the way on get out and go see if the parking lights are on , some vehicles its a failsafe to let u know parking lights are out , if so there is a fuse for it in the panel , if not the p l fuse , next i would check the dimmer switch for the panel lights E X ... remove switch place ohm meter across leads (with the plug undone) with the switch in one pos u will get a reading , now roll the switch and ur reading should change , if not , there lies the problem , get a new one
