1991 ford 460 won't start

Make sure the connections are Clean and tight on the solenoid first. The solenoid itself has rather small studs
holding those big cables. If checking those connections does not solve the problem then you need to crawl under the rig and check the cable on the starter if tight the starter will need to be replaced.

My 1991 ford F350 w/460 EFI is really hard to start after sitting for a week or so, and once I have it running it does not want to rev. It pops and misses, almost like a bad mass air flow sensor.

Sounds like a lean misfire condition. Have you run a fuel pressure test? Should be 55-60 lbs. If pressure is ok during idle and reving, Ttry disconnecting MAF and see if any difference on accel.

Front rotor

Really no way to do this. A micrometer is usually part of every store that sells rotors. Even if they do not turn rotors, they still need to know if yours are safe.

I have to prime my 1991 Ford F-350 fuel injected 460

There is a check valve in the fuel pressure regulator that maintains fuel rail pressure when the engine is not running. Check it first before going after a leaky injector.

Over heat after new thermostat

hey Tim, I have a 90 F-250 w/ plow. Did u have overheating issues before, or did u just purchase the truck? As u know u really need a heavy duty cooling system to plow. A truck purchased for plowing should have the 'plow package' option, which includes heavy duty cooling (engine, which is usually a bigger radiator) heavy duty battery and alternator, trans. cooler, heavy duty front end (for extra plow weight). So, my question is, is this a new problem, or not? My truck is set up for the plow, but I still have to watch the temp. gauge. I only have temp issues when driving down the road, plow up, not doing the actual plowing (sounds like your problem too). The plow up position blocks all incoming air to the radiator, so try driving with the plow as low as possible, and angle it all the way to one side, this will let the air flow, and works well w/ my truck. Let me know if this works for u or not. Curt

Wont start back after refueling?

your not mentioning if this is gas or diesel allthough im hoping it's a diesel being a f350 (gas is not so practical at this size truck) anyway if it's a diesel and you have a hot hard to start problem it's most surely your injectors getting stuck open and draining off your fuel pressure it only takes one stuck open to drain off all pressure but a 91 should have em all replaced at same time any good diesel mechanic would know how to confirm this with a few simple tests
