Above is correct, some body panels are interchangeable some aren't...Headlights, front fenders, hood yes. Doors unsure, bed and back no (obviously). The underpinnings (suspension) are similar, but not exact...and depending on the year, the Explorer went to independent rear suspension, while the sport trac kept the solid axle differential.

The transmission fluid fill is under the hood of the car, the same place the dipstick is. You'll need to take the dipstick out, and fill to the specs, but the fluid will then fill the pan where it needs to be.

you need to go to ford garage with radio serial no. they will look it up on computer. Will cost approx £15

Hi there. You should take it back to either FORDS or any auto matic gear/box people and have it changed and refilled with new autotrans fluid

replace the temperature sender unit ( not the temperature sensor for the fan) and check for loose wire to the sender unit.

... or publish the serial number here and some one will tell you the code. I will if I see it first

Back up light switch is located in the shifter area. remove cover ,you will see the switch where the shifter hits the switch to cause the lights to work.

NOT SURE OFF MAKE AND MODLE BUT MOST CARS NOW DAYS USE ACUATOR MORORS TO OPEN AND CLOSE DOORS TO MOVE HEAT

Sounds like you are either low on coolant, or a head gasket failure.

Take the bottom hose off then let it run out into a collection tray under the vehicle then have it disposed off by the appropiate authority in your area then refill with a minimum of 50% eythelene glycol if north then 100%
