2004 F-53 motor home chassis with speedometer lagging about 20mph
I know electrical problems are probably the most frustrating things to go wrong. First I would like you to get your alternator and auxillary power generator checked. Autozone and similar can scan it. My alternator had us doing 55mph at a stop and running up miles too!
The generator can put out "dirty" power that is incompatible with delicate electronics.
There may be a speed sensor in the differential. I know some have them there. If not, I am sorry to say your computer may be bad. There are aftermarket devices for adjusting the speedometer for different size wheels and tires. This is done with computer reprogramming. Your vehicle should not have lost its settings on its own. If something is interferring with the readings it is possible to remove that device and your computer may recover.
Your leveler alert horn may be out of adjustment. Test the leads of horn before scrapping it. It may still honk.
If you recently plugged into a trailer park before this came about, you should have some warning panel to test crossed wires. If this is electrical damage due to casualty you may have homeowners coverage. Good Luck
The selector switch for dash air ,floor air
Hi, sounds like a vacuum problem. When you select from floor to vent to defrost, the system uses vacuum from the engine to change over. If you look under the hood, near the firewall, towards the center, there should be small rubber vacuum lines. Check these lines for leaks with the engine on by spraying soapy water on the lines. If you see bubbles forming on any of the vacuum lines, this is where the leak is. Also check the vacuum lines going to the climate control unit inside the vehicle.

How to adjust clutch brake on a eaton 2800 series
This is from
http://refrigeratedtrans.com/mag/transportation_replace_original_equipment/"A good clutch adjustment begins by identifying the location of the
bearing. It should be positioned 1/2" to 9/16" from the clutch brake."
"After the bearing is set, adjust the truck linkage to allow the
clutch brake to squeeze a .010" feeler gauge between the bearing and
clutch brake when the pedal is no more than 1" to 1.5" from the floor.
Setting the clutch brake position too far from the floor reduces the
stroke to the clutch and could cause release problems and reduce brake
life.
All that remains is checking the free-pedal
distance in the cab. With the pedal in the up position, there should be
1" to 3" of free pedal. The clutch is now adjusted correctly."
