Did you repalce that as well?
You might need to rotate the distributor sideways while someone cranks it up.
Alternately, your timing may be off, your plug wire connections may be wrong. You could get the Haynes Repair manual to guide you.

check your coil it could be bad. does it jump start? have the alternator tested. If it jump starts disconnect battery and if truck dies then alternator is bad. Best way to test is auto parts store hwever.

This model truck might have 2 flashers one for the turn signals and one for the 4ways. both should be under the dash.
