My automatic climate control gives error codes e7+e2

E2 - blend door cannot reach desired position. possible failure at evaporator assembly or wiring to blend door actuator. E7 - blend door cannot calibrate. possible failure at evaporator assembly or wiring to blend door actuator. The codes are related to each other. DIY fix? Well, if you are very mechanically inclined. I'd recommend getting a estimate from a shop or two. Also a 2005 Ford What? Model would help too as far as possible DIY repairs.

When I start my car it runs rough and wants to shut off, the little wrench is on, I then disconnect the battery to reprogram the computer and drive it, gets better. Day later same thing happens again.

You cannot just reset the computer to clear the warning lights! You need to connect the OBD code reader and read the codes that will determine the problems you are having! When you have the codes post them here and we can assess your problem!

2005 T-Bird has definite gasoline fumes inside car. sometimes worse than others. Local Ford dealer ran lots of tests on line, etc and can find nothing. Says AC is probably leaking and that's th

ac has an odor but different from gas.. when you fill up do you top off completely or just wait until the pump clicks off..if you top off all the time you can overflow the vent tubes all the way up to the charcoal canister that has vacuum lines going to it..this vacuum can get sucked into the cars interior if not vented properly..careful use of low pressure airhose can blow these lines clear of any liquid inside..then don't completely top off at the gas station any moore..too high of a liquid level is just asking for problems..

2005 T Bird...Noise from under

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. I do know of the noise you are hearing. You usually hear it when you are taking off? If so, check all your vacuum hoses on the engine. Make sure none are damaged or loose. Make sure you air filter is not clogged also Angela. It may need changed. As for the slight overheating, check your coolant fluid and make sure it is the correct level. I want you to check your fans. Make sure they are working. Check the fuse that is in the fuse box labeled radiator fans. When you turn the AC on, the fans automatically turn on. That is why it is cooling down when you turn it on. You might have a bad fan or a bad wire or connection to the fan. A blown fuse may be the cause also. You still want to check all your hoses though. If it begins to overheat, do not drive the car. It can cause engine damage.

I cant find the low pressure recharge port on a

Look about 5" from the compressor on the hose assy,
suction or return side

If you need to add refrigerant,& you won't know that
you do,you would have a leak & be breaking federal
laws by trying to add & then poluting the atmosphere

You car & and Lincoln LS are twins for the most part
You need a knowledgable a/c person & a scan tool,
as well as the usually a/c equipment you won't have

You can not add to any vehicle system,as you will let
air into it,it won't take ref under prressure & you may
overcharge it & ruin the compressor or worse
