How do i flush a transmission?
VWs require a special machine and fluid. It is not always a good idea to flush a transmission though. you can take sediment from the bottom of your pan and spread it throughout the whole transmission. That can cause more problems than its worth. I would reccomend just removing the transmission pan and draining the fluid that way. While you have the pan out you can clean the sediment off of it too. You will need to most likely buy a new ****** pan gasket if the original is not reusable.
Engine turns over but won't start
Look for a fitting on the rail going to the injectors. There should be a fitting with a stem inside like a tire. you can press it down and see if fuel sprays out.
Hi,
my
VW have a big problem with their plastic water pump so I would first make sure if the radiator fan is working, the thermostat is in good order and radiator cap is good if all these things are in order and if the vehicle still heats up then look into the head gasket issue.
