you shouldn't need any special tool all you have to do is remove the caliper assembly of the rotor and the rotor should come right off. If not then the rotor should come off if a there is a nut holding it on there

the inter lock will get you stuck in park but not reverse unless your linkage is forced maybe you have a different problem try to put the car in nuetral while the key is only one click forward and your foot on brake , that may get you moving some fords have a key hole on the bottom of the steering column and you can just put your key in and put the car in neutral, then start the car and drive

Jasmine first check that the fuse for the brake lights is not blown there's a safety thing that will not let you shift out of park if the fuse is blown /// next if O.K. you must check the brake light switch on the frame where the pedal is under the dash if lights are working then the interlock switch is on the steering column here's the connector that you'll look for but is the shift lever very loose if it is try to push it forward and all the way to the left and it should start was somebody yanking on the shifter trying to get it out of park without there foot on the brake they could have broken the shift tube so the transmission is not all the way in park and the neutral safety switch is stopping you from starting because now it's not in the right position

Did toy check the return wires? they should be connected to the chasis of the car. This connection could be bad, or even lose.

Hello Heather, Sometimes you can't shift out of Park unless you push on the brake pedal and sometimes turn the steering wheel. Good luck.

My 05 Lesaber has a button on the dash that changes every thing from Km to mileage.

Could be a small gas leak in one of the gas lines or even a leak on top of the gas tank and yes could even be a leak where the fuel pump goes in the top of the tank. Quite often the leak is on the tank top out of sight and it smells of gas even if you have a slight leak.

Mine did the same thing. Fuel pump is good but my fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail was bad. Replaced for $12 at oreillys. Just make sure you unscrew the fuel cap before taking it off to releave the built up pressure.

OP would mean optimum full,1/2 is half full, and E means empty.

That is a sign of a wheel bearing going bad. To check jack up the wheel where the sound seems to be comeing from and grab top and bottom of wheel and wiggle to see if there is any sloppyness in the wheel. If there is then you have found the problem. If not try another wheel till all are checked out.

Look at the plug. There are four tabs in it, make sure they are there. If so then bend the tabs inward. If there is white or green chalky stuff in them, clean them the best you can. Try again. If it still doesn't work, replace the plug.

you can try unhooking the battery or you may need to go get a new key made from the dealer that has the proper arms of resistance in the key if you can find somebody who knows how to bypass the anti test you can take it to them they can bypass it and you can use any key made for that car off your original key
