My 99 ford f-150 blows only hot air.

The A/C system has a pressure switch will keep the A/C from running if the freon is low. It prevents damage to the A/C compressor from low freon.
My bet is you'll need to recharge the A/C system.

Can I adjust timing chain on a 1999 ford f150 5.4L without removing engine?

There is no real timing chain adjustment. If the timing chain is loose, it is because it has stretched beyond the ability of the tensioner to compensate. You'll need to replace the timing chain. (Yes, it can be done without removing the engine, but it's a tight space!)

How to fix a non responsive window switch in a 1999 F150

Chances are, if you are an owner of the 1999 f150 pickup truck, you will have issues with the window switches. If you have to press the buttons really hard to get them to work, this may be the solution for you! First pop off the trim piece of the door that holds your switches. Lift the front of it first. It's just held by a clip, and lift up until it pops, then slide forward. Unplug the window switch wiring plugs, and use a knife, or a small flat head screw driver to get the switch out of the trim piece. Then use a knife to pop the switch apart. You will four copper contact leads, and if you look close, you will see some bright spots on them where they were making contact with the button legs. Scrape those spots with a knife, or sandpaper to shine them up a little more. Plug in your soldering iron, and add beads of solder to each point building it up just a little, don't get carried away, it only take a little bit of solder.

Here is the finished product! Snap it back together, and put it back in your door. Should be working like brand new again. Hope this helps anyone.

What does OBD code p1000 mean on a 1999 Ford F150?

You must mean PO100 .It has to do with a problem a sensor called MAF or VAF mass air or vehicle air flow sensor . Its expensive but vary important basicly its the first sensor in the system tells the computer how much air is comeing into the engine. It is easy to change its located in the air duct usely near the air filter .You can also try cleaning it they sell a spray can of cleaner you spray on them but unless there is like a leaf or something like that blocking it usealy dosn't fix the problem. .One good thing you get a big recore for this part 75 to 100 dollars so make sure you bring it with you if you need a new one

Truck will not start there is a clicking sound

Is the battery fully charged? If you're sure it is, you probably have a bad starter. The clicking noise you hear is the starter solenoid. Make sure all the battery cables are clean and tight, both at the battery, and where they connect to the solenoid and starter.

How do I remove the rear end

It's really pretty simple. Jack the truck up and rest it on jackstands on the frame of the truck. Remove the wheels, brake calipers "if it's disc brakes drums if it's drum brakes" remove the brake cable from the park brake assembly, remove the brake fluid lines from the wheel cylinders if it's drum brakes, remove the bolts holding the driveshaft to the rear yoke, remove the bolts holding the rear end to the leaf springs while the rear end is supported with the jack and then slowly let the jack down.... It's out! If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/justin_3ae27a9d61d6acd4

How do I remove the rear end on a 1999 ford F150

Turn the differential around until you find the small bolt that is holding the differential pinion shaft into the carrier housing, this is the shaft thar runs through the carrier housing that the spider gears rotate on. Remove the bolt and slide the pinion shaft out towards you, if you have limited slip there will be a metal spring shaped kind of like an S that will need to be carefully pried out using a screwdriver or pry bar. You will need to remove the brake drum or rotor depending what type of brake you have on the left side, then just push the axle into the housing about half an inch, look in the center of the carrier housing on the end on the axle you just pushed inward, there will be a C clip on the end of the axle. The C clip looks like a washer with a notch cut in it, remove the C clip using needle nose pliers or a magnet, the axle should now just pull out. Source(s):

Auto trans gear selector missreads

There is a string/cable that goes from the shifter to the instrument panel the controls where the needle points. Your's sounds like it is slipped. These are a pain to replace and you better find one before taking apart everything. You have to remove the column bezel and the instrument cluster to fix this. There is an adjustment for this, but your's is to far out. Plus when adjusting the parts usually break, made of plastic. I would just live with it.

Starter only clicks when key is turned

There is insufficient voltage to turn the starter. Most likely a dead battery. Or a bad cable. Or a bad starter. Look at each in order.

What can make a started not work after you put a new one on it

Mr Frankiedeeds, It Sounds Like Your Starter Is Staying Engaged With The Fly Wheel Once You Start The Engine!!, What Is The condition Of The Starter When you Replace It?, Is It Completely Burn't Out? If It Is Then Check Your Ignition Switch And Starter Relay,It Could Be that One Or Both Are Faulty,Sticking,Or Burnt Together. Verify That the Starter Stops running When You Let The Ignition Key Return to the Run Position. Sorry It Looks Like You Will have To Buy Another Starter To Get Yourself On The Road Again. Put a Light In Parallel With The Starter Lead So That You Have No Light Condition When Engine Running And Light When Starter Is Operating. Hope This Helps Gordon
