There will be a code in memory which will indicate the problem. From you saying it flashes at cruise it is most likely your torque converter is not locking up as it should.

air in the pump and injector lines bleed the air out of the pump and loosen the injector line nuts to bleed the injectors check for problem furl line , filter seals , pick up line in the tank, and tank not venting properly

Hello, If your low beams work it's not the multi-function switch located on your steering column (two bolts and a plug). If you unplug the abs sensor on the rear differential and the ABS stays on and your blinkers work and you don't blow fuses could be the sensor. However, if this is not it you may have a ground problem (micro-friction). Usually these two systems are not connected and these may be completely different issues. Possible Scenario: aftermarket stereo installed incorrectly. Scenario Two: both of these sytems have bare wires and touch every so often causing your grounding problem. (There is a fuse-vibration testing technique that can be used to find the bare-wire(s)) Try to fix the blinker problem first you may find the ABS problem along the way (common wires of Blinker/ABS bundled together. Trace and inspect. Hope this helps--

check and make sure push rod didnt damage head,rocker , valve or lifter [which i would replace]if all looks good clean repair and replace

I drove truck for 30 years, and I used the trans fluid in diesel fuel to help keep injectors clean! Just be sure not to use too much! I would only use a 1/4 of a quart per tank full.

You just gotta face it: your engine is munched. Sorry. Nothing but nothing will totally ruin an engine faster, or more thoroughly, than overheating. And the damage that is done it not the kind that can usually be repaired. Every component of the engine is likely ruined, every single internal part. If you would have turned the engine IMMEDIATELY off, and coasted to the side of the road, you might not be in this position. But since you ran it until it started pounding ("pinging" you called it), you can rest assured that it will likely never run again. Sorry!

Usually need a 1/2" drive placed into tensioner pulley and ease it back till you can remove the belt off it. Then the belt will slide out so you don't have to remove anything. Follow the reverse order to put back on and follow the diagram under hood usually in plain view if you forget. It can be somewhat a puzzle depending on how many pulleys it needs to wrap around... You will not need to remove anything if you do it right. Also buy the 3 year plus one since the other needs to be replaced yearly...

Sounds like a failing or dirty switch. I had a car that did that and it turned out that the wiring harness connection to the switch housing had worked loose making a partial connection.

More than likely it will be your switch for the power windows

Manual or automatic transmission? Diesel or Gasoline? Either way you have internal damage to the transmission. It will either need rebuilding or replacing. A lot of times, repairing is less expensive than buying a new vehicle.

I would chweck igniton first...miles? and previous service?

There should be three screws holding it in from behind. They will be three long post looking type of stand offs. Remove those and the whole assemble will come out with a pop.

U probably hear the starter relay...starter seems to be bad..make sure wires are thought and damage free...can "hotwire" starter to check if its working properly

on passenger side from front to back cyl`s #1,2,3,4 on drivers side front to rear cyl`s 5,6,7,8.

May be a blown head gasket!

2wd or 4wd? shifting what, A/T M/T or 4wd.? try to say what you have first then post a question specific to a part. are you inside the tranny or just inside,car.??? her are lots of interlocks, my wild guess, is a/T park lock circuits and parts. right? inside car?
