You may have filled the Catalytic converter with carbon and plugged it up. Remove the catalytic converter and see if the blow back is gone.

Modern speed odometer are controlled by the computer. It more than likely is the meter itself. You will need to remove the dask section an repair or replace the unit itself.

P0704 Clutch Switch Input Circuit Malfunction The switch may have failed, or there is a bad connection between the switch and the PCM, or the PCM has lost it's mind??? try running water thru the heater core. In one hose and out the other. Probably clogged. Also make sure value in the heater hose is operating.

When this happens you are in a dangerous situation. If you have a leak, once the fluid runs out you will have no brakes. If another reason, like a bad Master Cylinder, you may not get the pedal to return to its top position and will not have full braking efficiency.
