have a 97 crown vic, in warm weather it idles fine and run fine now that its cold I have to hold at high idle to have warm up for about 10 mins. if I just start it the engine will die with out me holding on foot on the gas

the lens over bulb should be held on by two crosshead screws remove these and remove lens with rubber seal. take bulb out replace and put seal and lens back on with screws

i think there is a small sticker on the arm of the trunk that has the number code. or check the drivers door modeul it will be 5 didgets

if overdrive still works then its the bulb in shift handle end
