What is code 0401 insufficient flow to EGR valve
A code P0401 likely means one ormore of the following has happened:
- The DPFE (differential pressure feedback EGR) sensor is faulty and needs to be replaced
- There is a blockage in the EGR (tube), most likely carbon buildup
- The EGR valve is faulty
- The EGR valve may not be opening due to a lack of vacuum
PossibleSolutionsTo fix this code, it is quite commonfor people to just replace the EGR valve only to have the OBD code return. TheEGR valve is not always the culprit.
- Use a vacuum pump and pull the EGR valve open while monitoring engine RPM's & DPFE voltage. There should be a noticeable difference in RPM's with the EGR open
- Clean out the EGR valve and/or tubing to remove deposits
- Check the voltage at the DPFE, compare to specified values (refer to a repair manual for your specific model)
- Replace the DPFE sensor (with a good quality / OEM one)
- Replace the EGR valve
Drivers side door wont seal,
latch has probably broke internally if you can slam door and dosent close replace latch maybe 15 dollars from a scrap yard and takes about 25 min max tools needed star screw driver and flat blade to take door panel off
Open circuit to fuel pump
There is a 30 amp fuse in the underwood fuse block that is for the PCM/FUEL PUMP. It feeds power to the ccrm (constant control module relay). If there is no power to the inertia switch that is the first thing I would look at. It is the part located under the upper radiator support ne'er the battery. Back brake caliper's piston won't compress
if your turning the piston the right way which you probably are so it turns in not out and it won`t go back then it sounds like caliper needs to be replaced as the piston is siezed in its postion.
1994 ford taurus leaks gas
The fuel filter is located on the passenger side just in front of the passenger rear tire. That would be the first thing I checked. It is not uncommon for the filters to rust through. It is also not uncommon for the lines to leak at the fittings or for the lines to crank. A good inspection of this area should make the source of the leak fairly easy to figure out.Good luck, let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for using Fixya.com! Running lean
I know the water temp sensor and air flow sensor can cause that. There are other possible solutions but, the Water temp sensor plugs into the intake it adds fuel when water is cold and gives less fuel when the water gets warm -- the air flow sensor will add and take away fuel depending on quantity and quality of air.
After changing out the radiator the fan comes on
It is not the PCM. The fan on all the time says you may be in failure mode, with fixed values by the PCM. You disconnected something electrical during the radiator swap out. The fule pump should come on for 5 seconds when you turn key to ON, and humm. Then turn off.
The power relay should turn on the PCM, which in turn, turns on the fuel pump relay to acitvate the fuel pump. Check the power relay first.
I think this relay is under the hood in the relay box. See owner manual.
