rebuild the tranny, it's about $2500 . make sure they are reputable company.

Bad glow plugs and/or glow plug controller. Common issue with these vehciles. Some also have harness failures. Replace all glow plugs as a set not individually.

It could be a bad fuse or bad bulbs. good luck

IT sounds to me like the solenoid is sticking. Follow the large wire up from where it bolts onto stater and the next thing that wire is bolted to is the solenoid.

Try draining water from separator. Have you replaced the filter yet?

check for loose connections/fuse at the key/ ignition switch. Check for loose connection where the ignition gets the power (starter motor terminal)

Have a pressure test done on the fuel manifold to see what pressure the regulator valve is set at. With a motor as big as this I would not be surprised if the fuel pump is not capable of feeding the injectors at full acceleration. You will find this out with the rest. To save anxiety find a speed specialist shop that has a chassis dyno installed and do the fault finding while the engine is running. IT may cost a few dollars but the problems can be diagnosed and fixed with out leaving the shop

I know that those 46RE automatics in those dodge truck are garbage from the factory. we had the same problem, and are now looking at a 1500 dollar rebuild bill.

check see if coil getting power.if no check ignition fuse if yes getting power at ignition coil.either ignition coil is bad or thick film module on distibutor faulty.ignition timing way off or you have worn distributor cap and rotor. worn spark plugs and wires.
