means that your oil is not working to give you the output power to ht leads and then to spark plugs. you have to replace it,

Is the check engine light on ?If not, look at the fuel pressure regulator and see if the engine is warming up to normal temp.

I would suggest that all that u have that unplugged. Does it feel like the drive shaft?

I work for Bi-State here in St. louis. MO. We use Ford 7.3 diesels. They bought 30 6.0 fords every one of them are junk. We just got chevys which are having alot of problems as well.

I would buy the 7.3 before driving a free 6.0 or duramax

I am hoping this truck is a gas engine. If so probably a 460. The truck has a fuel pump in the fuel tank or tanks if so equipped. There is a fuel rail at the front of the engine that feeds the injectors. On this fuel rail you will see a plastic cap that looks like a cap on a valve stem to a tire wheel combo. Remove this cap, if you turn the key to the on position you should have air out at first and then fuel. Be very careful not to ignite the fuel coming out. Use something to catch the fuel as it begins to come out.

If that is the e4od transmission ..They are known for that..Ford claims it gets too hot while idling..But you said you had a cooler..You can try taking out the vent and make sure its clear of debri..Its located on top of the transmission..

The issue may be the the in tank fuel gauge float. Over time these can corrode and/or get gummed up which would cause it to get stuck. Another issue maybe the wires running from the in-tank pump to the gauge cluster, if one of the wires has become loose or broken, this would cause the issue as well.

should hold 6.5 pts oil, 8 oz of friction modifier. I would use a 90W HP synthetic oil.

make shore all fuses are ok
complete tune up done
replace fuel filter and then the last thing would be timing...
