Most likely the motor on the transfer case. You have several modules/computers that work the transfer case shifting. Since it is trying to shift, it narrows it down to 2 modules. The transfer case module and the motor module(the motor has a module built in). I do diagnostics, I have the tools to do it. I eliminate other possibilities. Wires and such. I place more motors, than all the others combined. It is the most abused electrical part of a 4x4 vehicle. And it is on the bottom of the vehicle.

Find your A/C compressor and follow the larger of the two lines back to the fire wall and you will find the low pressure port for charging. It should have a blue screw on cap. Make sure you replace the cap when charging is complete as the cap is considered a seal for the system.

The Internal light is normally tied to your dash lights on a factory installed radio. Find the main p[lug on the back of the radio and unplug it then try it with a new fuse if it still blows then it is the wiring if it does not blow the fuse when the radio is unplugged, chances are the radio is bad and will have to be repaired or replaced.
