At low speeds a bad camshaft sensor will cause the car's engine to stall. The engine may also experience an inability to turn over, resulting in the car not starting. This may not happen all the time since the car's on-board computer will use the last readouts from the camshaft sensor to operate the pistons and manage fuel flow, Good-Day!

Remove the inspection plate on the bottom of the transmission at engine the sensor is located by the fly wheel. Good luck

did you had someone scan it for you?you just dont go moving things unless you know what you are doing,sometimes a loose gas cap could cause a check engine lite

you may need to clean the throltte body, and then start the engine and hold the rpms high for a minute, then slowly reduce the gas pedal to idle, you blanked out the memory, now it needs to learn the idle speed again.

The battery won't keep a charge or it won't when it is in the truck? Will the battery keep a charge if you put it on the charger and then unplug it overnight, all of this out of the truck. Then in the morning will it start the truck. If not your battery is bad. If it keeps a charge and will start the truck and then it goes dead after several hours, your truck is drawing a load on the battery. You will have to find what has been left on or shorted out.

You could do that in fact I've done it a few times myself to either rule it out or pinpoint it as the problem. Your top radiator hose will lead from the radiator to the thermostat housing take the housing off and there's the thermostat. Personally I would take the thermostat in the house put it in a pan of water and see if its opening and closing right without any hitches. Also if the fan(s) aren't working properly they can cause it to hiss and spray through the radiator fill. I would make sure to test the thermostat although you don't know at what temp it opening you'll know it is opening. depending how far you live from a parts store I would drive it there and back without the thermostat the install the new and drive it the same distance to make sure it not going to overheat. each time you take the thermostat housing off you have to clean as much of the gasket and sealer as possible on both the side that connects to the radiator and the side on the block. Everything it cast aluminum so be careful not to torque it so hard you snap the bolts off. Good Luck I Hope This Helps

Hi Elizabeth, the "No Bus Message" means you have a sensor or something else bringing down the BUS on your vehicle and sometimes when this happens on certain vehicles it want allow the vehicle to start and run. Then only way to figure out what is brinin g the BUS down is when the message appears then don't turn the key off, instead unplug one thing at a time until the message goes away, then you have found the thing thats brining it down.
