When the engine light is on have it scanned for codes. Go to parts store they usually will do this for free and it will lead you what area the vehicle is having trouble with. Then you can go from there about your needed repairs.

When if ever has it been tuned up? What engine do you have? How many miles are on it?

Fuel pump died. Older pumps don't like running dry. Hit the bottom of the tank, this will jar the pump and possible bring it back to life. But you still need to replace it, as it will die at any time you shut the vehicle off. then some day , you won't be able to resurrect it.

ECT wont kill the engine. If it over heated and you kept driving it. You just might have blown the engine. Put a socket on the balancer bolt and see if you can turn the engine by hand. Clock wise.

Most Chryslers from this year band require removal of the rear door's liner to access the motor. The motor is held on by two or three compression nuts with bolts that pass through the motor housing/frame. NAPA has new ones or you can use simple nuts and use both metal and rubber bushings to prevent possible rattling noise after mounting a new motor. A car or your year it is best to go to a recycle yard and get the whole assembly for cheap so you don't need to disconnect the motor from the wiper arm linkages. It's not difficult. The wiper must be removed from the back of the car and the large screw underneath the rubber gasket removed as well. The rest of the removal/install process is done from inside the rear door, once the rear door panel is removed.

You have either, a bad ignition switch, faulty ignition key tumbler or both. Try replacing the ignition switch first, it's cheaper.

The best way to remove it is to follow clear instructions using a Haynes Workshop Manual. I have bought these manuals for all of the cars I have owned over the years, they are a great way to plan how the repair or replacement will proceed and what tools you might require. They also prepare you for possible areas to wacth for when removing items to avoid injury to yourself or further damage to your car. All procedures are marked in 'number of spanners' to show the difficulty level involved.

I have replaced rear wiper motors in the past. It is fairly straightforward but The Haynes Manual will be the best $20 you spend.
