2003 dodge ram hemi throttle control problem

try getting some throttle body cleaner from you parts store, and give your throttle body a good cleaning. I just did that my self, after taking off the air filter unit off and the "HEMI" box (sorry i don't know what that's called) you will have good access to your throttle body. With the engine off, prop open the throttle body with a wedge, and you will see it black. When you spray the cleaner it will desovle right away, if not a soft brush maybe a old toothbrush and srcub. Also spray the air box, tube, and "HEMI" box. When you start it again it will run a little wierd but let it run for a couple minutes, turn it off then restart. Should be good as new.

Electronic Throttle Control light

I took my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi to a mechanic that works from a garage at his home, recommended by a friend of mine. He removed and cleaned the throttle body and sensor(s?), then reinstalled them, and then disconnected both battery cables and held them together for 2 minutes so that the engine controller could reboot with the factory default settings, then reconnected them. I had bought a can of throttle body cleaner on my way over to his house for about $3.00. He charged me $40.00 for the job. This was done mid-February, about 10 weeks and 2500 miles ago. So far, the problem Has Not happened again, the truck has been running great!

2006 dodge ram 5.7 litre hemi serpentine belt diagram

A diagram should already be available inside the hood on the radiator support of the fan covering. If not, follow this link: https://skippingtheinbetween.blogspot.com/2017/03/30-2006-dodge-ram-1500-serpentine-belt.html. Basically, if the pulleys are grooved, the belt ribs ride on it, and if the pulley is smooth, the backside rides on it.

2004 Ram 1500 1/2 ton

It's a map/tps sensor correlation code, essentially it means the map sensor reading isn't what's expected with the tps reading and vice versa! It sounds like your tps sensor is probably bad or the circuit to one of those 2 sensors.

Hope helps (remember rated this).

2004 ram 1500 cruise will not operate past 40mph, already changed wheel sensor, I think truck had 20 tires and now has 17 tires could the problem be the cruise ratio?

Since the tires are a different size than the computer is programmed for that could be the problem right there. U cant fool the computer.

P0501 code on 2004 dodge

Causes A P0501 DTC trouble code may be caused by one or more of the following:
  • The Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) is not reading (functioning) properly
  • There is a broken/frayed wire leading to the vehicle speed sensor
  • The vehicle's PCM is not correctly configured for the actual tire size on the vehicle
Possible Solutions The simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back.
Next, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the speed sensor. The location of the sensor depends on your vehicle. The sensor could be on the rear axle, transmission, or perhaps the wheel hub (brake) assembly.
If the wiring and connectors are OK, then check the voltage at the speed sensor. Again, the exact procedure wil depend on your make and model of vehicle.
If everything looks OK, replace the sensor.

Where do I install the rear-end oil on a Dodge Ram

I supose you are talking about the rear axle? if so, unscrew the bolts of the rear axle's cover and let the oil flow out into a container. once it's empty, clean the cover and the surface on the axle where the cover goes on to, apply a seal onto the cover and put the cover back on and screw al of the bolts back into place and tighten them. you will find a rubber plug in the cover, take it out and fill the rear axle untill the liquid comes out of the plughole. Put the rubber plug in and you're done! Watch out if you got al limited slip differential, you will need to put an additive into the oil so you won't burn the clutches of you limited slip differential.

Power door locks don't work on 2004 dodge ram quad cab

Maybe!!!! Wire taps are not a good thing. But yes I do them also... Kinda a catch 22! But the bad thing about wire taps are that they carode the exposed wires. Recheck the conections where you made the connection. If it breaks contact then the locks might not work. Or if the conection at that point is grounding out and blowing your relay or fuse. But if your tailgate lock still operated when all others did not then chances are that one of the door switches is bad. after you recheck your wires, disconnect the battery for about 10 to 15 minutes. If it is the relay then that should let it cool off and reset itself long enough to work or atleast hear a click out of the locks when you power up again. LISTEN CLOSELY FOR THE CLICK. Have someone inside of the car and up by the front of the car and this will increase the chance to hear it. You do not need the key on for the test because the locks have power all of the time. Good luck and let me know.
