1987 Dodge Ram Wagon B350 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Dodge 1973 entertainment RV. have a battery drain
don't hold me to this, but I believe the electrical for that RV is under the sink, basically you can back track any circuit it will lead you back to the inverter, depending on which RV body they put on your Dodge it can vary, look under the seats at the table for the batteries , make sure all the contacts are clean , a dirty connection will cause the alt to not charge the system, which drains pretty fast , other systems , if you have one, Include a generator system also, which when running should also charge the system
All of the lights are not working except the head
Check the wiring on the radio again ,now iam not sure about this as its an older vehicle but some vehicles use self volume adjusting and light feed for panel lights and its possible you have connected to a light feed or wired this to earth and blown the fuses .Look under the bonnet in the power distribution box in case you have blown a fuse in here that feeds it all .
1987 dodge van, my heater
If the blower isn't working check the fuse/circuit breaker, and relay if one is used. If the blower is working, and if in the defrost mode warm air is produced then it is likely a problem with a vacuum actuator that diverts airflow in the duct system. Some vehicles have a valve that controls hot engine coolant flow to the heater core, if your vehicle has one it will be located where the heater hoses pass through the firewall check to make sure it is functioning correctly.

No oil pressure and knocking sound
This is a clear indication that an engine bearing has failed. Usually the cheapest way to resolve this is to find a used engine and have it installed if you feel that the van still has some usable life left in it.
Hope this helps,

Trans will go into rev
If your transmission fluid is good (and not totally burned up - give it the smell test) you have a problem with the shift solenoid in the transmission - either it is the solenoid or the electrical wire powering it.

Dont know where to start
Take the old wires off one at a time. Compare the old wire to the new wires and find the new one that is the same length as the old one. put the new wire on routing it exactly as the old one was routed. Move on to the next wire. As long as you replace them one at a time you can't mess anything up. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at

I have a 1978 dodge
Hi!!
Align the NEW Dist Cap on top of the OLD one to check the instalation position, once you have it right, remove one cable from the old one and replace on the same position on the new one. repeat procedure until all the wires are in the new cap. This way you will not have to worry about messing up the firing order.

Dodge B350 Ignition switch
The lock the ignition key fits in is not the actual start switch. The actual switch is located on the steering column under the dash and is actuated by a metal rod that is pushed when you turn the key. as you turn the key see if you can feel anything moving on the steering column under the dash and then follow it to the switch and see if it is actually activating the start switch.
I have a 2002 Dodge Durango 4.7 l with the coil pack spark plugs but I'm not getting spark what do I do
Start with the silly, obvious things first. Check the coils packs are the correct ones and are seated correctly. Check the wiring connectors are also seated correctly.
Have you checked for spark on all of the coils? This will test to see if it is the coils themselves or further back in the ignition system. Have you had the vehicle scanned for OBD trouble codes? This will help find out if it's a sensor causing the issue.
Next you need to check for voltage going to the coil packs. Check them all to make sure it isn't just one or two causing the issue. After this I would suggest getting a good Auto electrician to look at it as it could be an issue inside the vehicle's electronics.
