Vw jetta 1995 2.0 having problems with the turn
TELL ME WHAT PROBLEM YOU HAVING.IF TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS DONT WORK YOU CHECK BULBS + SOCKETS AND THE FUSE.IF ALL OKAY PROBLEM IS IN FLASHER UNIT SWITCH OR LOOSE OPEN WIRE CONNECTION.IF EVERY THING CHECK OUT GOOD TURN SIGNAL SWITCH IS FAULTY.

does the car have an alarm system? if so what kind is it. some alarms prevent the car from starting if it sences a problem. it is possible that you hooked up the stereo and it is causing a malfunction in the starting.

Sounds like you may have the wrong bulb installed causing feedback to both circuits

A backfire like you are talking about is the result of a timing issue and judging by the age of the vehicle it sounds like high mileage and wear on the moving ignition parts. There are bushing and shafts that wear and then the timing changes due to runout and endplay.
Gas, spark but will not fire
obvious things first , are the leads on the corect plugs for firing order,are the plugs sparking , fuel in tank ,all other wire's connected , may have dislodged something when changing plug's etc, hope this helps
Where does the clutch fluid go on 1995 vw jetta
The clutch fluid goes into the clutch fluid reservoir look around in the engine compartment by the brake booster. if you still cannot find, head on over to Auto Zone or Oreillys their counter people will show you where it is.
