Use your vin # and look up coolant recalls my corrado had a recall and the dealer fixed for free just call your V W dealer

well i myself have a corrado, when i purchased it i didnt know what i got into. it's a great rare car that not alot of parts still exist but basically it's a classic.

this should help , try ebay they have wiring diagram manuals for corrados.

try re-tuning the head computer

Do a steam clean or wipe down on the engine block.

Locate ALL the freeze plugs location.

Monitor for slow coolant drip / steam / water mark on each freeze plugs.

Replace them ASAP.

Do a hydrocarbon HC dye test to rule out crack head and other minor leak(s)

try replacing the fuel cervo, tripping of rpms mostly comes from faulty cervo. hope this helps

Here are the most common causes of surges, stalls at stops, low erratic idle speed, rough idle and engine hesitation, it is in most cases the idle speed control air-bypass valve and or throttle valve and upper intake, these area's get full of gunk and combustion residue over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

i used to have a golf g60 and had a similar problem, with mine it was the coil lead.
but it could be a number of things? i sold mine due to the amount of problems i had with it aswell !
if the fuel is still in the cylinder then it has to be an electrical problem as its not igniting. are you getting a spark from the plugs? leave one out and get some one to turn the engine and see if the plug is sparking. if its not then its either the coil, rotor arm, dizzy cap or leads.

You can buy a rubber wrap a the auto parts but is temp. You will need to replace that coolant line at the least you should replace all if you can

your cooling fan relay is gone or you have a bad ground or temp sensor is gone start with relay and look for a bad ground.

The wiper motors may be shot, also check the fuse for the wipers!

check the fuse you may have to replace the brake light switch.

if your like is staying on it may mean the brakes are sticking and if thats not the case your sensor could be loose so whenever you apply the brakes its reading it as your slamming on the brakes.
