Could be bad ECM/PCM fuel injector driver.

Take out #1 plug if possible. put straw or something similar in plug hole on top of piston, put a wrench on crankshaft pulley nut and rotate engine. when piston gets to the top it should be on tdc. and rotor pointing to #1 wire on distributor cap. replace plug and adjust dist, if piston is on top, and dist, is off. pull dist so the rotor button points to #1. GOD-bless! OR YOU CAN ALSO ALIGN THE TDC MARK ON CRANKSHAFT DAMPER.

You will find a valve on your fuel rail. Your fuel injectors are attached to the fuel rail. The valve will look similar to a tire air valve and will be at the opposite end from where the file is.

Sorry, your pump is bad. What you did was reduce the resistance in the wires. Full power with way more than full amps(you jumped it), will cause the pump to come on. The screeching is the pump. replace it.

Only Ford products use an inertia switch.

Check all your fuses under the dash and under the hood, replace any blown fuses you find. Sometime the car makers put 2 or 3 fuses in different locations for the same unit. If everything seems ok, then I'd say when you used jumper cables, if the radio was powered on at the time you may have blown the amplifier and it would be time to replace the radio.

Don't know where you're located, Tamela, but warmer climates & idling, don't go very well together. if you're idling for long time, maybe shut the engine off. Or maybe a little more rev on the idle speed. good luck!

"eng cont" usually means engine controller or engine computer.

remove and replace thermostat.

if its the same part every time. either something is wrong with the way its being made or its getting to hot and the resulting damage will keep happening. it would help more if you knew what the part was failing from. then it would be easy to figure out. should last 100k miles at least maybe 200k. so it keeps failing is a huge sign something is wrong. check with the manufactor or online to see if anyone has reported the same issue with that part. there might be a recall from the dealer you can check also. the other option is get your money back and buy another brand see if it last longer
