Won't stay running

When you say stalled, did you mean it cut out. Could be a problem with the ignition circuit in the ignition switch. Use a jumper wire from the battery to the coil and try starting it.

Why wont my 2006 ford five hundred cvt move when placed into any gear. transmission fluid is good as well as any linkage to the transmission. this has to be something in the inside of the transmission

run the fault codes and look for a torque converter clutch servo/solenoid problem or a TCM fault Go to an accredited transmission specialist shop

I have a 2006 Ford

You may not be able to really. Some of these have dipsticks and some do not. CVT transmissions do not but some 6 speed transmissions do. If you do have one it should be near the air filter box. IF you have one....put the vehicle in park and start it up. Leave it running at an idle for several minutes until its good and hot. While it is running and hot, pull the stick and check the level. (be very careful) Fluid should be red in color and at the point on the stick where is says warm. If it is brown, you have trouble, if it is low, you have trouble. ie leak. Either way you look at it. ANY time a tranny slips it DOES cause further damage. I recommend a tranny shop

One of 2 ways. Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes to clear the brain or go to a Big Three autoparts store like Autozone, Advance, or Oreilys and have them do it with a scanner.

Removed battrey cable now car want run

This is confusing so by removing battery cable I assume you mean to the coil or ignition module, as the car is cranking over. Go to here http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/catalog/owner_guides/06500og1e.pdf turn to page 192. Locate and check fuse F14 and F18. see page 193. Also on pg 196 I would check fuse 27. If it is none of these and you definitely have fuel in the car, then it is most likely a blocked fuel filter or dead fuel pump.
