No heat blows into cab,
yes both are true. but most likely the actuator quit working, Youll have to find it and watch the operation and make sure it has voltage telling it to open. Some times they will click and start to move but slip and not open. I worked on one that was behind the radio.
However first I would go out under the hood and feel both heater hoses that go into the firewall. Both should be hot. If one is hot and one not and when the heat is turned on it blows hot for a minute but turns cold then the heater core is plugged and all you have to do is disconnect both hoses and attach a hose to one and back flush water until it runs clear. about 5 minutes each direction.
Fords are famous for having plugged heater cores. And still famous but a little less so for bad actuators.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON
the flashing and check engine lite is indicating a code has been set in the computer. have it plugged into and see what the code is and repair the problem associated with that code. hope this helps
F 250 1995 transfer case linkage problem. My truck
Did you look underneath to see if you broke anything? If the linkage is still connected and moving then the problem is internal and can only be repaired by removing the transfer case and dismantling it.
I have a 1995 f-250
Being that you have power on both sides of brake pedal it indicates you have a short to power on that circuit. It also goes the the engine control computer, but very unlikely the power came from there (being its only an input to the computer). It may sound odd, but check the rear bulbs and sockets. I've seen single filiment bulbs (3156 or 1156) accidentally put in a double filiment socket. This will back feed the constant power sent on the tail light circuit back to the other filiment. Also check the socket itself for water intrusion or possible shorting. If you remove one bulb and the other goes out this would indicate that. Don't forget to check the high mount socket. If you have a trailer wiring plug check to make sure it is wired correctly. I have seen many poorly wired trailer connections causing a lot of electrical problems. Disconnect it and see if lights go out.
I have a 1995 ford F250 7.3 powerstroke with an
I almost had the same problems you have listed with my 1994 F-150, I believe that your truck has same transmission. There is some kind of sensor/electronic control on this transmission. One of the connectors could be loose. I have no idea where the connectors are, just look around the transmission housing for any wires, and perhaps give them a jiggle. Check to ensure all connectors are tight. Mine did the same things, and I went off roading with the truck, hit a huge bump, and the thing did not flash or act up anymore. Not long after the truck got totaled, so I did not dig into the problem. Hope this helps you. Good luck! You got a nice truck there, with the 95 style, and the 7.3 diesel!
Does my truck have somewere
No, it may have an engine block heater, if it does it should be in the front around the bumper or grill area.
Batters not keeping charge is threr a way to plug
sounds like you have a drain on your system when the key is turned off, or you have bad battery or batteries, you can take your truck to a local parts store and they should be able to check your batts to see if they are good or bad, then go from there.
