HI GUYES WHO HAS THE SECRET TO REMOVE THE TILT
You've got to be very well versed in steering assemblies before attempting to do this. There are very strong springs int there and if not carefully positioned they can hurt you severely. You must first remove the wheel with a steering puller set. Make sure that the wheel is in the upper most position, first. then pull the wheel. keep track of the order in which the parts come out.Taking pix along the way often lend to ease the reassembly. Use the circlip removal tool to remove the clip holding the lock plate down.By now you'll be able to see the turn signal switch. remove the lever hold down screw and slide the turn lever out.Remove the three retaining screws for the switch and pull it straight towards you enough to lay it to the side. No need to diconnect the wires.Once you've finished with this, take the tilt pin remover from the set and while keeping a slihght pressure on the respective side, 9:00 for the left pin, 3:00 for the right. Remove the pins and then you'll be able to slide the collar up and away enough to get at the tilt lever. That's all. Reverse the order for assembly. Thanks, Dana
