What is a 91 inch shadow?

The fluid type is located on transmission dipstick early models take 7176 fluid same as Dexron II later models take a plus 3 or plus 4 fluid and check level in neutral car running normal operating temp with parking brake on.

I know on Dakota 92 if rotor has more than 1/4 inch of play its the distributer gear and bushing that the distributer sits in in the engine block gone bad if your rotor has play possibly something toward those lines. Just an idea

The speed senser on my 91 2.2 is under the car almost directly behind the oil drain plug on the upper side of the axle housing it has an electrical plug no cable it's held on with 1 bolt remove that and it pulls up pretty easy to expose nylon drive gear.hope that helps

if its the oil light that is on then check oil level if its good and there is no engine noise out of the ordinary then its probably the oil pressure sending unit that has gotten weak.if its the check engine light then there is a code in the ecm that you will have to pull to find out what the code is to know where to start to find the problem.

Clogged heater core, bad heater water control valve, kinked heater hose, worn water pump impellers, no thermostat are a few of the more popular causes.

your throtel is stuck clean it

this is a typical Coolant Temp Sensor issue. the part is about $20 and can be done in a few minutes. I can further help if i knew which engine was in the car.

i would check your distributor cap or just replace it it might have a crack and is not allowing the spark to reach the plug chang the rotor while your at it they shouldnt cost more than 20 together if that doesnt do it have your ignition coil tested

check your cat. converter it might be clogged my cavaleir was acting like that and it was the cat was bad had it replaced with straight pipe ran great hope this helps

18 volts is to much for a charging system, it should be abou 15v max.
the voltage regulator is almost certainly the problem and they are not servicable at all. the oly option is to replace it.
i don't know the dodge shadow, but on all modern cars with alternator charging system that i have dealt with, the regulator is built into the alternator itself rather than being a separate unit.

it should be dealt with fairly quickly, as this level of overcharging could cause serious problems with the rest of the electrical system

could be the trouble is the brake light switch.

i would advise you make your own as this is an obsolete vehicle by now as its 20 yrs old and most manufacturers only keep spares for vehicles up to 10 yrs ,could you not try a scrap yard for a piece they would no doubt give you the spacer bush if you bought some other things
