The horn on the 1989 Dogde Raider turns on when
There is no airbag on the raider. There are metal contacts that set the horn off, pop off the center section of the steering wheel. Look for any source of grounding. If not the horn relay is inside of your odometer cluster, which is held on by screws on teh left, right and back of the cover. Its a brass looking box.
Blinkers dont work and da brake light when u push
Remove the steering wheel and replace the multi function switch located behind it. This is responsible for cancelling the brake light on one side when you turn that blinker on. If nothing is working, it is likely that the switch has had a problem for a while. Replace it and be done. If you need anything else, please let me know.
Original tire size and tire pressure for 3.0 l v6
Dodge equips your Raider with two different sizes of tires during production, either will work fine they are:
225/75-15 or 235/75-15 , and 34 PSI is your set pressure for all four tires. Good luck !
Where is the base timing ground on 1989 dodge
Looking at my manual for the Montero 3.0 V6 it would appear the ground is near the windshield wiper motor. The maunal shows a "ignition timing adjusting connector" right under the motor; the electric connector on the left side of the unit is to be grounded out. If you like I have a manual I could scan for you. Email address please.
I hope this mas assited you,

HOW TO REPLACE A STARER IN 1987 DODGE RAIDER
I am assuming that it is the 2.6L (G54B) engine. I am not sure if the 6-cylinder was available in 87. If it is the 4-cylinder engine the starter will be on the drivers side down near the side-bottom of the engine. It looks like a silver tube with usually a black center. All you have to do is unplug the electrical from it (i think it is just one connection) and then unbolt it. Getting to the bolts can be a pain so you will just have to find a way that you can get a wrench in to it. Once you take out a couple of bolts (can't remember if it is 2 or 3) you can just pull it out and pop in a new one.
Unsafe gas line repair?
It is ok, as long as the hose is for fuel, and the hose is designed to withstand the pressure, and everything is done tight without leaks.
Starts when it wants. no check engin light. runs good
Hi,
Well more than likely you may need to run a new power wire to the coil.
does that have an HEI distributor. If it does just run a wire straight
from a 12 volt power source to the distributor. If it starts that will
tell you that the power source you already have is bad. It won't hurt
anything to just run one from somewhere else. People do it all the
time. Get back to me and let me know if it would fix this issue.
Thanks.
