Where is the low side a/c port?
The answer to your question is simple. Unless you are a licensed a/c repair person, you are not allowed to work on any a/c units. Unfortunately this means going someplace and paying alot of money.
These are state and federal laws with fines and jail time.

Brake problems
Air can be a pain to get out sometimes. Check for striped fitting/bleed screws, if it all check out, it is most likely the master cylinder on the firewall.
Loses power
When you are low on oil you should hear an engine "ticking" noise at the top of the motor. If you hear an engine "knock" or repeated thud with a metallic sound, your engine will very likely require a significant repair or replacement. There is another possibility that you could have a broken timing chain but normally the engine would not stay running if that is the case. I would suggest you have an engine shop mechanic (not dealership) diagnose the knock and estimate a repair.
Where is the fuel filter for a 1987 Dodge dakota
The fuel filter is under the hood, center, upper engine area, above intake assembly, mounted in fuel line.
The fuel pump should be in the tank or on top of the tank. Trace your fuel line back once you find your filter and you will find it.
I have a 1987 Dodge Dakota the check EGR light
that light comes on at 30,000 mile intervals it is a timed thing only and does not indicate a problem
the dealer or a shop with a scan tool can turn it off for you. you have another problem mabee tune up needed. a delay valve wont do anything. if you want to see if egr is a problem just disconnect the vac hose and try it out.if it runs better that dont mean the valve is bad though.
if it has a smog pump make sure that after the engine warms up to normal operating temp, the air flows through the tube that goes down to the exaust just in front of the cat converter.make sure it doesnt blow into the exaust manifold after warmed up because this will cause the 02 sensor readings to be off and it will run bad
1987 Dodge Dakota fuse box
Usally a pair of needle nose pliers will work. There is a metal piece that goes across the fuse, if that metal piece is broken in 2, the fuse is bad.
Gas in oil
Usually gas gets in the oil if you are having a hard time starting the vehicle, or turns over for a long period of time before firing. It floods the cylinders and bypasses the rings filling the oil with gas. You may want to change the oil and filter and see if this problem continues. Check your plugs, wires etc.. If it does then your rings may be shot not giving enough compression to the cylinder causing un burnt gas. Try a compression check and see if you have any bad cylinders. Depending on the vehicle 90-160 psi isnt uncommon. If there is a great differential between the cylinders you may have faulty head gasket, bad valves, or just worn rings.
