There's no access hole. Need to drop fuel tank. You also need a special tool to release the fuel lines. They can be purchased at autozone or similar for a reasonable price.

You go to any Autosound stereo installer shop or go online and buy the jumper harness that allows you to plug the radio into the original scar harness.

Have you checked the plugs and wires. This sounds like it just needs a tune up and maybe a good fuel system clean out.

it is mounted on the left fender. it has 2 plugs and hooks to the throttle body

also be sure to change the fuel filter

Did you check the computer for trouble codes then clear them after the problem was fixed ?

The Master Cylinder On most all american vehicles is located on the drivers side on the firewall. It usually has a brake fluid reservoir mounted to it.

I am currently working on the same car, the one im working on is a K though (wagon), but same engine. What I found the issue to be is a bad fuel line.

There are a couple of issues that can cause this. Dodge use a double fuse system for the fuel pump. One fuse is located in the interior fuse panel, mine was in slot 13 but that was a Neon. The other fuse and relay are located in the engine compartment in the power distribution center. Now, having said that I will tell you the bad news. If the timing belt broke, a definite possibly in an 87, the fuel pump is shutoff due to a safety. Check the timing belt. You should be able to look at it visually through the cover and tell if it is turning. It will take two people if you don't remove the cover which is help in place by 2 bolts on a 4 cylinder. Before you go getting into all of these fuses and wiring use a multimeter to check the power wires going to the fuel pump AT the gas tank. If you have power there and the fuel pump isn't working then the fuel pump has gone out.

Code 24 will stay for 50 or so starts, but 52 is indicating a rich mixture. Possible oxygen sensor faulty. Clean connectors on oxygen sensor, and clean and check map sensor connection as well. Stop at an Autozone or Pep boys or similar parts store and they will scan and erase codes for you. Then see if code returns.

if your reverse light don't stay on, first check the bulb.

If the bulb is okay, check the reverse light wire and make sure its intact.

Lastly, check your fuse box. You should find your fuse box under your steering and or inside the bonnet. Check if the fuse has blown.

One of 2 things, there is either a blockage in the rear line, or the master cylinder is faulty.

Check to see if it's fire or fuel. Take one spark plug wire off and put on spare new plug, Place spark plug on engine where the tip is grounded against block and while someone trys to start car check to see if there is spark arcking between tip and insulator on plug. it,s best to do this in the dark. if it sparks, try putting a little gas in intake then try to start if it starts or trys to start, yo know it's a fuel problem. Change fuel filter first, f no change check fuel pump. If no spark check ballast resister on firewall or fender

If the car is properly maintained I have customers that run over 200.000 miles on the car.

The clicking is the starter solenoid which is normal, the starter motor is not making a good contact due to it's worn, a starter replacement will fix the problem.

Remove the master cylinder cap and just pour it in to the respective mark on the reservoir. Some may not have the mak on the outside so 3/4 full is good enough

Whens the last time you checked the anti freeze /coolent level please check when COLD not hot you could get burned very badly

on the front of the engine behind the accessory belts .

under the hood on the drivers inner fender well towards the front.
