Pop the hood and disconnect the negative terminal on the battery using an open-end wrench. Allow the truck to sit for at least 20 minutes before you work on the airbag.

Reach behind the steering wheel and locate the two screws that hold the airbag to the steering wheel. Unscrew those screws using the torx-head screwdriver, which will allow the airbag to fall forward from the steering wheel.

Unplug the horn switch connector wire and the airbag connector with your hands, then hold the airbag with the vinyl face pointing up and carefully place it in a safe spot, away from any potential energy source.

WARNING: ON VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AIRBAGS, DISABLE THE AIRBAG SYSTEM BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY STEERING WHEEL, STEERING COLUMN, SEAT BELT TENSIONER, OR INSTRUMENT PANEL COMPONENT DIAGNOSIS OR SERVICE. THIS IS THE ONLY SURE WAY TO DISABLE THE AIRBAG SYSTEM. FAILURE TO TAKE THE PROPER PRECAUTIONS COULD RESULT IN ACCIDENTAL AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT AND POSSIBLE PERSONAL INJURY.

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. If either of the airbags has not been deployed, wait two minutes for the system capacitor to discharge before further service. 2. If the vehicle is equipped with a manual transmission, remove the center console from the floor panel transmission tunnel. Refer to Floor Console in Group 23 - Body for the procedures. 3.If the vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission, remove the two screws that secure the trim cover to the Airbag Control Module (ACM) mounting bracket on the floor panel transmission tunnel and remove the trim cover Airbag Control Module Trim Cover Remove/Install 4.Loosen the screw that secures each side of the instrument panel center support bracket to the ACM mounting bracket Airbag Control Module Remove/Install Do not remove these screws 5.Remove the two nuts that secure the instrument panel center support bracket to the studs on the lower instrument panel structural support. 6.Disengage the retainer on the instrument panel wire harness to the ACM from the mounting hole in the left side of the instrument panel center support bracket. 7.Pull the top of the instrument panel center support bracket rearward and down from the instrument panel studs. Fold it down over the top of the ACM until it is laying flat on the floor panel transmission tunnel. 8.Disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector from the ACM. To disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector from the ACM: a.Slide the red Connector Position Assurance (CPA) lock on the top of the connector toward the side of the vehicle. b.Depress the connector latch tab and pull the connector straight away from the ACM connector receptacleNOTE: Always remove and replace the airbag control module and its mounting bracket as a unit. Replacement modules include a replacement mounting bracket. Do not transfer the module to another mounting bracket. c.Remove the four screws that secure the ACM mounting bracket to the floor panel transmission tunnel. 9.Remove the ACM, the mounting bracket and the instrument panel center support bracket from the floor panel transmission tunnel as a unit.

Replace bulbs, or switch is bad, I suggest to get a factory service manual, the usually have diagnostic procedures that you can follow. A good source is Promanuals. Explaining how to remove would be complicated without diagrams. Diagrams are our friend.

Either fan is out of balance (slung off balance clip or cracked at the center mount) or something has gotten into the fan. I've personally had things such as pencils in the fan that fell down through the defroster vents. I've also (living in rural area) had a mouse die in the fan. It not only went "thump, thump, thump", but it really stunk up the truck! Remove the fan to check for foreign items or damage to the squirrel cage.

Have your brakes bled, that should solve it.

Start with the silly, obvious things first. Check the coils packs are the correct ones and are seated correctly. Check the wiring connectors are also seated correctly. It should be hard to press down and come back up slowly and controlled. It could also be the springs, the upper mounting rusted away, worn ball joints, steering tie rod joints or CV Axle universal joints. All those need testing professionally on a lift. Are you referring to the Auxillary (Fan) belt? These usually have a spring loaded tensioner arm with an idler pulley attached to it. This usually controls the tightness of the belt when the engine is running. They are commonly held on with a single bolt. In most cases if the belt has gone slack this tensioner has failed and will need replacing. You will need to remove the belt before you can do this especially if you want to keep the skin on your knuckles. Yes, I've done that!. It's also worth replacing the belt as well while your in there then you know it's good. **NOTE** Make a drawing or take photos of the route the belt uses BEFORE you take it off.
