Sounds like the flexible brake line is changing the pressure in the brakes, it probably has a missing clamp to hold it in place. Often times a spring is used.

Governor pressure controls the 1st and 2nd shifts. After that is the 3 and 4 solenoids. you would need to look at the pressure when driving(takes a scanner). pressure is 20 to 30 PSI from 1st to 2nd, depends on acceleration. After that the pressure will jump to 100+ psi. Did you replace the governor solenoid and sensor? They are on the passenger side of the transmission and sit in a block that detaches from the valve body.

Do you have 4 wheel drive ? If you do you "could " have a problem with the transfer case. The noise you describe is indicative of transfer case issues.

if it worked before probably wrong bulb check the bottom of the bulb compare to the old one or the socket is it one or two prong or one or two filaments in bulb.

This is most likely due to worn brakes that need replaced. If not it could be the ABS sensors.

You will have to use a bearing puller or heat it with a torch. Be careful when heating as there will be grease on the spindle which could ignite.

Lightening that close probably fried everything. ECM,BCM,injectors,coils,ignition control module and more. I did an 05 grand prix that was welded on the exhaust. They hooked the ground to the on the body instead of the exhaust and fried everything in the car. The only way to check is to take the modules apart and look for burnt PC boards. Hand held computers wont read them, because they are burnt.

the coolant temp sensor should be tied into both the gauge and the clutch . the sensor tells the fan clutch to come on if the vehicle is going above the normal operating temp. also check the wiring leading to the sensor and the clutch for broken or frayed .
